Life Changing...

It's been too long since I've written a post, and since S leaked in a couple posts back about big changes in my life, I thought I would share.

Where to begin....Matt and I are ENGAGED!! After 4 exciting years together we have decided on forever.

Wedding planning is in full swing, and I let me tell you, it's kinda stressful. So many decisions to make! But I'm trying to remember to soak it all in and enjoy each minute of it, as it will go by too too fast.

And while Matt was picking out the ring and planning the proposal, I had accepted a job with a new company. It's been a complete career change, from retail manager to assistant account manager in an advertising agency. I was super excited and very nervous for!

The same weekend I had accepted the position, I came home from Maurices and Matt had picked up steaks and scallops, along with a bottle of champagne saying it was to celebrate my new job, how thoughtful! I didn't think anything of it. We cooked dinner together and sat down to eat. Looking back I wasn't aware if he was acting out of the ordinary, he is very good at staying calm. When he started to clean up afterwards he started putting something in the fridge but when he turned around the ring box was in his hand. I'm sure I just looked at him bewildered, and I'm pretty sure I blacked out but he simply said "Will you marry me?"

I do remember sticking in there "Is this a prank?" Haha! But after that of course I said YES! Then the crying ensued and phone calls were made.

I've wanted to marry this man for a very long time! Matt truly surprises me everyday, he is always there when I need him, and pushes me to be my best self. I'm so grateful that he is in my life, and am ecstatic for our future together.
